yoga for women

Hi, I'm Mischa!

My yoga journey began in 2001 while studying French Literature and Dance at university. What first drew me to yoga was how it offered something different from the pursuit of perfection in dance—it was about self-care, community, and presence. I completed my 500-hour Yoga Alliance Certification in 2010 with Bristol City Yoga and have since immersed myself in various practices, with a recent focus on women's health. I’m also a certified Well Woman Yoga instructor with the Birthlight Trust and a Reiki Practitioner.

As a mother, I treasure time with my children, but I’ve come to value “me time” more than ever. I am so grateful to have a yoga practice I can use to reconnect to myself or just to find a bit of calm. It is my heartfelt desire to share this with my students as well.

When you join one of my classes, you’ll find a welcoming and relaxed space where we honor the tradition of breath-centered practice.

I love keeping things simple and approachable, following the vinyasa principle of moving step by step. Whether the class is gentle or more dynamic, my goal is to help you stay present, let go of past and future (for a bit!) and be open to whatever unfolds.

We’ll explore moving meditations, with the occasional addition of mudra, mantra, or yoga nidra. But don’t worry about doing things perfectly or knowing the jargon—yoga with me is about listening to your body, making adjustments that feel good, and enjoying the process. And yes, laughter is always welcome!

By the end of class, my hope is that you’ll leave feeling lighter, more free in your body, mind, and spirit, ready to carry that sense of magic and ease into your daily life. Whether you’re new to yoga or have been practicing for years, you’re warmly welcome in my classes.
